Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup water or ice
  • 1 tablespoon cottage cheese
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender.
1 scoop vanilla protein powder, ½ frozen banana, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, pinch ground nutmeg, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, ½ cup unsweetened almond milk, ½ cup water or ice, 1 tablespoon cottage cheese, pinch of sea salt
  • Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth.
  • Adjust with more almond milk to thin or more ice to thicken.
  • Pour into a glass, top with a pinch of cinnamon, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Blend for 45-60 seconds minimum. Protein powder needs time to hydrate.
  • Use fresh cinnamon. Stale cinnamon = flat shake.
  • Use frozen banana, not fresh plus ice.
  • Split water and ice for the best texture.
